Cruisers Running Club - Membership Form - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdxVsiGe7RgRPc30gIk2u-34TmXWERGNozWNn9eAjl34WoOSQ/viewform
Detailed Explanation of Cruisers Annual Membership Fees 2026/27:
The Cruisers Running Club Committee have aimed to run the Club such that annual expenditure and annual
income are balanced so that the Club neither makes a profit nor makes a loss.
Expected Expenditure can be split into two main elements:
a) Fixed expenditure for the Club: such expenditure is not related to the number of members that the
Club has and includes England Athletics Club Fees, Surrey AAA Club Fees, Club personal insurance
fees. Combined together these will total £400 for the Club in 2026/2027. If Cruisers had 40
members then the fixed costs would equate to £10pp
b) Membership expenditure for the Club: such expenditure is directly related to the number of
members and includes England Athletics individual membership fees which will be £23pp
If the Club has 40 members then the Annual Membership Subscription would therefore need to be £33pp to
cover expected expenditure.
Last year our membership fee was £27pp. Recognising that increasing the Cruisers Running Club Membership subscription from £27pp to £33pp would be a significant increase, at our AGM in March 2026, we agreed that the 2026/2027 Membership Subscription be £30pp until 31st May 2026 and thereafter rise to £33pp for members renewing or new members joining after this date.
Membership brings you:
Affiliation with UK Athletics
Reduced entry fees at most races
Discounts at local running shops, including Up and Running (Woking) and Tortoise & Hare (Cranleigh)
Opportunity to enter the draw for the club’s London Marathon places (subject to the club rules on eligibility). More details in the full club rules below and on our London Marathon Place page.b
